This book contains two bodies of work by Ishimoto: a series of color abstractions experimenting with multiple exposures, and black and white photographs of flowers. Ishimoto was based in Chicago for many years, and studied at the New Bauhaus \/ Institute of Design. This color work done in the late 1950s was at the forefront of medium, and his work was especially experimental in exploring possibilities.
