Alighiero Boetti: Mettere al Mondo il Mondo (Bringing the World into the World)
Alighiero Boetti: Mettere al Mondo il Mondo (Bringing the World into the World)
First Edition, 1998. 336 pages.
Book measures 8.5 inches square. Cloth-covered boards, no dust jacket as issued. This publication drew upon the Boetti archive in Rome to create the most comprehensive monograph on his work to date. Boetti was an Italian conceptual artist, and associated earlier in his career with the art movement Arte Povera. Includes essays by Rolf Lauter, Klaus Gorner, and Caterina Maderna-Lauter. Text is in English, Italian and German. Color and B&W plates throughout.
Binding and boards show a very slight lean. Otherwise a sound copy in solid binding. A scarce title, especially with few copies available in the United States.
