A collection of b&w photographs of chaotic urban landscapes, many of which are of Tokyo’s downtown areas, with countless electric wires, pipes, signs, architectural fragments, roads, etc., printed in high-contrast monochrome. There is also some writing by Kanemura alongside some of the photographs in this volume. This book is considered an early representative volume of Osamu Kanemura’s work, emphasizing the noise and excess of cities brought about by an overflow of visual information.

A clean crisp copy. Red obi shows very minimal wear. Binding is tight. A scarce title.
