Book measures 8.5 x 12 inches. Beige cloth. Text in Japanese. Titles of photographs are in Japanese with English translation. A collection of 82 photographs in beautiful b&w gravure plates with color process images as well. All of the color plates with opposite gravure plates have the original vellum slip sheets present to prevent offsetting from ink. A clean copy in square tight binding. Minor foxing to inside of front and rear boards and endpapers. Dust jacket is very bright, and shows no nicks or tears. Original cardboard slipcase is present which shows age toning and some foxing.
Kimura traveled through Helsinki, Warsaw, Wetzlar, Frankfurt, Vienna, and Paris on this trip, his second to Europe which resulted in a follow up publication to his original travels. Preface by Tsumura Hideo, with a text by Kimura following the photographs commenting on his work.
