Instant light: Tarkovsky Polaroids

Book measures 6.25 x 8.5 inches. Introduction by Tonino Guerra, with an essay by Giovanni Chiaramonte. Composed of sixty luminous polaroids taken by Andrey Tarkovsky in Russia and Italy between 1979 and 1984, and concludes with photographs from Tarkovsky's personal collection. The size of the Polaroids are reproduced exactly to their original format, including the frame. Tarkovsky's journals and writings are interspersed throughout the book alongside his images. An essential Tarkovsky volume.
