One of Stauffacher's most important books. A beautifully printed specimen book of his recently acquired run of Kis-Janson types from A.G. Stempel Frankfurt / Main. He provides background on the type, and the punch cutter Nicholas Kis who was responsible for cutting the punches for this typeface which Stempel acquired and mistakenly attributed to Anton Janson.
An excellent clean copy in tight binding. Near Fine. Scarce.
