Includes works by Ikko Narahara, Masahisa Kukase, Hiroshi Hamaya, Kikuji Kawada, Shomei Tomatsu, Daido Moriyama, Issei Suda, Nobuyoshi Araki, Shoi Ueda, Hiromi Tsuchida among a number of others. Black and whites plates throughout, with a handful of color works as well. An excellent early survey of modern Japanese photographers published in the West. Scarce in hardcover.
