First Edition, 1994. 56 pages.
Book measures 12 x 12.25 inches. Text in Japanese and English. Includes as essay by Narahara titled Invisible Light. This book Consists of two series, and were inspired by Narahara's illness and stay in the hospital, during which time he experienced the near presence of death and then rebirth. The photographs combines x-rays with other photographic images, and x-rays with photograms of flowers and fruits. "The two series presented here may be the self-portrait of a man who once saw with the eyes of the dead and now sees and tries to represent himself as part of an equivalent continuum with the universe..... The original, fundamental mind participating in the generation of the universe, the cosmic wisdom back beyond and before the big bang. I made this book in response to this cosmic wisdom"–from Nahara's text Invisible Light.
