Book measures 9.75 x 6.5 inches. A reprint of the original book issued by Stempel type foundry in Germany which issued all of Hermann Zapf’s typefaces in metal for letterpress printing. A wonderful example of typographic possibility, and also an incredibly useful type specimen resource. All of Zapf’s typefaces are used throughout this book, as well as many classic typefaces from the Stempel foundry. At the back of the text are two indexes: Typographic Annotations and Type Faces, which include what type is used for each example; and Translations and Bibliographical Sources, which contain information on the source of each text used.

Very Good in wrappers showing light wear. Binding is solid.
