This book is part of the Shinchosha "Photo Musee" series offering a newly edited reprint of Shomei Tomatsu's '11:02 Nagasaki' portraying the aftermath of the atomic bomb in Japan. This edition includes 26 pages of text by Shomei Tomatsu and Akiko Takana about the bomb, its aftermath, the effects on the survivors, as well as further context about how these photographs by Tomastu began. The archival nature of this writing, and its historical significance puts this work deeply into focus. This edition is also quite scarce, and unique because of the added texts only published within.
