Book measures 7.5 x 11 inches. Slipcase measures 8.75 x 12.25 inches. Bound in full black Nigerian goatskin, lettered in gilt on spine and front cover. Complete with the black cloth clamshell box lined in gray suede, with gilt lettered leather spine label. Typeset in Monotype Bodoni at Golgonooza letterfoundry with new descending characters from punches cut by Dan Carr. Display type is Bauer Bodoni. Printed on Magnani paper. Includes 6 beautifully printed minimal etchings by Robert Ryman on Arches paper. Published in an edition of 550 copies, 500 of which were numbered. This edition is from the 50 unnumbered copies as it was gifted to a letterpress printer involved with the printing of many LEC books from this era. SIGNED by both Samuel Beckett and Robert Ryman on the colophon. A beautifully printed and designed book.
