Profusely illustrated with B&W images throughout of Heizer's sculptures, earthworks, and process shots; along with reference images and other related material. Includes a lengthy interview with Michael Heizer by Julia Brown, and the essays 'Mythopoetic abstracations' by Rainer Crone; 'Michael Heizer's use of photography' by Sam Wagstaff; and 'Downtown in the desert' by Paul Deitz. Includes a chronology by Barara Heizer, selected bibliography, and an index of images. Published in an edition of 2500 copies in wrappers. An important Heizer book.

Very Good condition showing light bumping to bottom edge of book, affecting 1/4" of text block. Otherwise Very Good in clean wrappers. Binding is solid.
